The Essex Partnership recognises the important role the Third Sector (voluntary and community groups and social enterprises) plays in delivering the targets set out in the LAA. It is a key partner in delivering the LAA action plans.
We know that the Sector adds value by providing services and facilities not provided by statutory partners, it encourages community voices, skills and services and generates wider social benefits. The Sector is a valuable voice for those different groups of individuals that it supports. These roles are recognised in the indicators included in the agreement, and the LAA action plans.
