NEW Update on timescales for decision of final allocation of PRG
The letter from Pam Challis and Peter Martin said that revised PRG allocations would be provided to partnerships on 19 July, but we are still waiting for responses from a couple of LSPs who have said that they will reply. We would prefer to wait until we have these, and any others, before putting forward revised allocations of PRG.
We are now proposing that LSPs be given until Monday 26 July to provide a response to the proposed approach. This will enable those who have not yet replied to do so and allow those who have asked questions to reconsider their responses in the light of any further information or clarification we can provide. Depending on the views of LSPs, we aim to confirm allocations week beginning 2 August.
Sorry if this adds further uncertainty, but as you can appreciate this is a complex situation and there are a range of views to consider.
Performance Reward Grant (PRG) Funding
Essex Partnership Forum is being consulted on proposals for managing the reduction in PRG. Through this process it is hoped that a consensus view on a fair set of proposals can be reached so that partnerships can be informed about their revised allocations before the end of July.
