Sustainable Essex

The partnership has two primary functions:

1 - To act as the governance body for LAA targets and Essex Strategy priorities relating to stronger, sustainable communities taking on a performance management role and commissioning specific projects to deliver against targets.

2 - To provide a partnership environment in which key issues around stronger, sustainable communities can be discussed, debating the County s long-term approach to spatial planning, social cohesion and environmental sustainability.

Key data owned by the partnership

Each Thematic Partnership has produced an Annual Report to summarise progress over the last year as well as considering issues and risks to future delivery.

NI 188 -  Planning to Adapt to Climate Change - update for LSPs

This briefing note aimed at LSPs gives a summary of the potential vulnerabilities and opportunities from major weather events and a changing climate within Essex.  It recommends that all LSPs undertake a Local Climate Impact Assessment of their activities using  the Impact Assessment Tool. This tool is simple to use and has been designed to help organisations to assess their exposure to weather and climate risks.
