Road Publicity Partnership

The purpose of the partnership is to fulfil our obligations of the Essex Bus Information Strategy 2006-2011 to provide comprehensive, impartial and consistent roadside timetable information to the travelling public throughout Essex Public transport patronage and satisfaction will improve with higher quality, consistent information, throughout the county and this needs to be co-ordinated by the county council rather than the bus companies to ensure that information is impartial.

Essex County Council owns and maintains the roadside infrastructure and pays for the production of information, printing and IT equipment and overall development and co-ordination of the scheme. The bus operators pay for and organises the distribution and posting of individual timetables at the bus stops.

The partnership consist of commercial First, NIBS, Stephenson s of Essex, Regal Busways, Arriva and CPT Essex representing all and Essex County Council
