The Essex Partnership is the LSP for Essex, a working relationship between representatives of organisations who deliver services to the public across Essex. It directs and oversees progress on the Essex Strategy and the Local Area Agreement.

Member organisations include: all local authorities (county, district, town and parish councils); police; fire service; health trusts; academic institutions; private, community and voluntary bodies.

There are six thematic partnerships within the Essex partnership, you can view them from the front page or use the links below:

All partnerships are represented on the Performance Management Group.

There are 12 District LSPs in Essex that have developed their own sustainable community strategies. Each community strategy is unique to the area that it covers, although there are often issues that are common to all. It is important that the Essex Partnership works closely with the district LSPs and other partnerships, such as those in the growth areas, to ensure we complement each other’s work and do not duplicate effort.

The Essex Partnership Forum (EPF)

EPF is the over-arching partnership body for Essex, with representation from all statutory public sector partners and from the Private and Third sectors, as explained in the Essex Cooperation Framework and chaired by Pam Challis, Leader of Castle Point Borough Council.   It has over 100 members including 42 statutory partners to the LAA and the voluntary and business sector.

You can veiw notes from EPF meetings in the minutes section below.
