Organisation: Ashingdon School

Ashingdon is a primary school with approximately 220 pupils, ranging from reception to year six. Pupils join us mainly from the villages of Ashingdon and South Fambridge, as well as from parts of Hockley, Canewdon, Rochford and Hullbridge. We are fortunate enough to be set in open green-belt countryside.  The accommodation is made up of 10 well-equipped classrooms, each with their own interactive whiteboard. We also have 2 libraries, a large hall and an ICT suite. One of our libraries has recently been equipped with the latest technology, enabling the children to use it as a lending library. A classroom has also been converted into a food technology room, where the children are able to cook in small groups, as well as being used by our cookery club.
